Consensus: “Gangs Of New York” is a sprawling epic filled with colorful characters and amazing sets and locations. Daniel Day Lewis stands out to me as Bill the Butcher. The film is directed by Martin Scorsese and although it is fully entertaining it is not one of his most powerful films.
